Community reminded to be safe, patient and respectful over Easter

Residents and visitors to the Sunshine Coast are urged to keep safety, patience and respect in the forefront of their minds ahead of the Easter break.

Mayor Mark Jamieson, Queensland Police Sunshine Coast Inspector Michael Miley and Sunshine Coast Safe Night Precinct Local Board representative joined forces today (April 12) to voice this united message.

Mayor Jamieson said Easter is a very special time of the year, and also one of our busiest on the Sunshine Coast as holidaymakers come to experience everything that we have to offer.

“We want everyone in our community to enjoy their Easter break, have a great time with their family and friends and to support our local businesses which are at the heart of our economy,” Mayor Jamieson said.
