Scots here to finalise pre-Games Coast camp
Scotland has ramped up its preparations for its pre-Commonwealth Games camp on the Sunshine Coast with a series of site visits, meetings and networking activities.
Up to 300 athletes and support staff from Team Scotland will call the Sunshine Coast home in the lead-up to the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast.
The team will base their official overseas preparation camp at the Novotel Twin Waters Resort with athletes staying for up to three weeks before the Games begin on April 4, 2018.
Mayor Mark Jamieson will welcome a delegation of Team Scotland representatives, including Commonwealth Games Scotland chair Paul Bush, sport team managers, general team management and team camp staff at tonight’s networking function at Novotel Twin Waters.
