A chance to improve your export sales and profits
The Sunshine Coast has a range of great export success stories and council knows there is plenty of potential to build this part of our region’s economy even more in 2016.
To help local businesses start or accelerate their export sales, registrations of interest are now open in the 2016 Sunshine Coast Export and Global Capability Program, which offers two separate intakes, each over a 10-week period with the first starting on April 20.
Facilitated by Export Council of Australia (ECA), in partnership with Trade & Investment Queensland, the program will assess each business’s current export readiness, guide businesses through key elements of their export journey including exposure to new markets and developing an export plan, and deliver coaching from experienced consultants who will provide personal advice relevant to each exporter’s needs and opportunities.
Sunshine Coast Council CEO Michael Whittaker encouraged all Coast businesses that are thinking of exporting, currently exporting or wanting to enter a new market to sign up to the 2016 program.
“Our exporters in the Sunshine Coast region have reported that this professional, well developed program has helped them avoid expensive mistakes, find new markets and successfully grow their business,” Mr Whittaker said.
