Learning how to export from the experts
“Truly valuable for both start-up and more advanced companies like us.”
“Thank you Sunshine Coast Council”.
This is just a small sample of the positive feedback from local business owners who’ve grown their international profile via Sunshine Coast Council’s Export Program.
Sunshine Coast Council CEO Michael Whittaker said the first Sunshine Coast Export Network event for 2016 would be held on Tuesday March 8 from 4:30pm to 6:30pm at the Brightwater Hotel.
“The Sunshine Coast Regional Economic Development Strategy (REDS) aims for 20% of goods and services produced in our region to be exported by 2033 and council’s export program helps to drive this into action,” Mr Whittaker said.
“This program includes a number of free export networking events throughout the year that provide local business owners with opportunities to connect with successful exporters, hear about their experiences and learn from them.
“Next week’s event will include a presentation from the State Director of the Export Finance and Insurance Corporation (Efic) to help local businesses win more business, grow internationally and achieve export success.”
